Binny’s Beverage Depot - South Loop

Dedicated free parking, so pretty easy. This place is upstairs. Beers is mostly together. Good sized average ambiance beer store with coolers on one side. My biggest complaint is they will not break up 4-packs etc. There is a mix-six, but you are required to buy six. The selection is good, but not many rarities. Really the higher end mead was the highlight. I did leave this place empty handed. Service was average. For such a high rating disappointing.

Honestly ... it's great for midwest beers, some cool international stuff, but had to hunt more than I would expect in a tippy-top bottle shop for the absolutely best / crazy hard to find stuff. It's a very good bottle shop, but could stand for better curation / organization and I would say it was more of a standout 10 years ago than it is today.

The best beer selection I have ever seen. They had 6 packs of Hopslam $15 no limit. They also had Surly, Toppling Goliath, 3 Floyds, Alesmith, Epic and many more. Their singles selection was lacking. You have to buy 6 and their variety was not great. Huge place, had the cool thing where your cart has its own escalator. Service was very knowledgeable and helpful. Cheap deals on many exclusive beers. You have to see this place.

This store is a bit out of the way, but holy shit is it worth it. The selection is mindblowing and reminds me of Maruhn. Everyone I asked immediately knew where the beer I was searching for was. So many beers I couldn’t look at them all. The only thing I don’t like that much is that they only have ~half of their selection as singles, the others are six pack or four pack only. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend the build your own 6 pack for 10 dollars if you are looking for beers to take home. Go here just before your flight home and take as much as you can carry ;)

Big binnys, usually has more obscure offerings in the mix six and in the store in general than other ones in the area, its has a bar which always seems closed when im there, one of the bartenders there is really cool though.

Huge store, with parking lot. Tons of good stuff and new stuff. Has a nice little rack of limited beers that are 1 per person, rather than hiding them away. Pretty convenient location as well.

Great shop, amazing selection of beers and reasonable prices.

Huge selection. Locals, sours, ciders, meads. Also a huge selection of wine, cigars, liquor. Didn’t hit the tasting room yet. Good prices.
